DJ Services:
Our events are powered by the incredibly flexible and professional VirtualDJ software using our high quality portable DJ console and business grade laptop to ensure reliability on your special day. Backup equipment is always on hand to ensure technical issues do not disrupt the event.
Any song within the limits of the Connect Licensing Agreement can be included to make your event just the way you want it to be. (Use of songs by the very limited list of restricted artists can still potentially be included upon special request).
During your consultation, you will have an opportunity to provide general or specific musical requests quickly and easily using our online forms.
Want live requests from the floor? We provide paper and paperless options for your guests to get their song requests in and spice up the party.
Live Sound Services
Just need live sound? With over 15 years of experience in live event audio, we have you covered in any arrangement. Monitors and audio equipment not included on our equipment page may require additional rental fees.
Karaoke Services *NEW*
Downbeat DJ is adding karaoke as a full service package to our offerings. This will include commercially licensed access to the 54,000 song catalogue from Karafun which is being updated almost daily and you can check out here. We also have excellent quality vocal mics and multiple display options to fit the vibe of your party. Most of the songs in this catalogue include independent control of the background and lead vocal levels and easy requests via QR code to jump right into the action. We can also change tempo and key to suit your vocal comfort. We have several years of experience running karaoke events privately and can't wait to bring the music to your next event!

Cherished Moments Photography
Leah Farmer is a creative and proficient photographer, combining excellent people management skills and a meticulous attention to detail. She works tirelessly to capture the most memorable moments of your special day with flair and style.
With many years of experience, Leah will work with the event organizer to ensure coverage that is comprehensive and specifically customized to meet your needs.
At the conclusion of editing and post-processing, you will receive high quality digital copies of all your best photos which you are free to use as many times as you want in any digital or print medium.
Sean Jamieson Music
Sean Jamieson is a talented singer-songwriter with over 20 years of professional playing experience. He consistently brings passionate and polished performances to a wide variety of events.
In addition to his recently released original EP Just Let It Go, he has a diverse catalogue of covers ranging from the 1950's to today in rock, pop, country, and alternative.
His vocal partner, Catherine Noelle, has been a professional singer for over 20 years and has performed all over the world in various groups.

The Sean Jamieson Band features the talents of Jeremy Vanhalteren (lead guitar), Zakk Smith (bass) and Dan Farmer (drums) all of whom have extensive professional training and many years of playing experience.
We offer performance packages including solo and duo acoustic sets, as well as our full 5 piece band. This can really add a memorable spark to any dance, dinner, or party. Ceremony music for weddings can also be arranged.
We have an extensive covers catalogue rehearsed and ready to perform. Special requests not already rehearsed by the band will carry a surcharge depending on the complexity and preparation required.
